What Causes Irregular Menstrual Cycles After Withdrawing Contraceptives?
I stopped taking Birth Control at the beginning of December when me and my husband decided to start growing our family. I have not had any pre-pregnancy check-up as I live in Egypt and I m not sure what I m supposed to ask about or what procedures that normally occur with a pre-pregnancy check-up. I am concerned because since stopping the birth control, my cycles have been coming at different times. The first was 28 days long, the 2nd, 31, then 33, then 31 and this one is now entering its 34th day and my period still has not arrived. Is it possible that there is something wrong? Maybe a hormone imbalance? I have been able to pinpoint ovulation every other time except for this time. I forgot to mention that during each cycle when it leads up to the time of my period, I get different pre-menstrual symptoms every single time. I am trying to decide whether or not to go into a doctors office and get checked out or not.
