If your girlfriend had her period from 9 September to 12 September, and you had unprotected intercourse from 12 September to 14 September, practically she carries no risk of pregnancy from these intercourses. So there was no need of M -pills.
The egg is released (ovulation) 14 days prior to the next expected menses. Egg has life of 24 hours while sperms are active for 72 hours; hence a period of about one week is a fertile window. Your intercourses were far away from fertile window. Hence they would have been safe. Moreover, she has taken M pill which is a Plan B pill. So she is well protected against pregnancy.
M pill is an emergency contraceptive pill. This pill causes some spotting to light bleeding for a day or two few days after its consumption; which she had 4 days after the pill. However, in her cases it lasted for 6 days. It should not be considered as her menstruation. Her regular menstruation has started from 1 October; a little earlier. It may happen so due to M pill. You need not label it as irregular menstruation. She will get her further menstruations regularly if she does not take Plan B pills again.
I hope this helps you at this stage.
