What Causes Irregular Periods Despite Taking Ino-Ova?

Dear Doctor,I m taking Ino Ova tablets & Glucophage, from then I used to get my periods every alternate month before that my periods were irregular. From June 2016 I have been taking these medicines and as mentioned above I was getting periods every alternate month. But now i got my periods last on Jan 8th and today it s 23rd of March 2017. Still no signs of my periods, what can probably be the reason?

Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern. If you have been sexually active throughout the period without using any protection, please go for a pregnancy test. Else, you have to check for persistent hormone imbalance and plan further management. As you are getting regular periods every two months, it is possible that you are ovulating. Please see your health care provider if you cannot clarify through the home pregnancy test. You may then need a blood test and a sonogram of the pelvis. Hope this helps.
