What Causes Irregular Vaginal Spotting Despite Having Negative UPT?

LThis is my story.I had my period last june 13.. im a 29-31 day cycle.. i took postinor 2 june 30..i expected my period by july 11 but it didnt came.. it came out july 13.. but it was spotting..that when i wiped it out with a tissue the pink blood is there with sticky fluid.. it goes for 3 days.. after that 3 days of spotting,red blood finally appears and become modorate flow which i needed to use a pad..and then the next day it bacame heavy and then moderate again after.. since i was freaking out about what that spotting i searched if that was implantation bleeding or no.. i took pregnancy test after that period one day after and it was negative..im expecting my period this august 10 but it didnt came.. i took pregnancy test aug.14 which turned out negative.. and took again pregnancy test august 18 and negatuve again.. im really stressed out why my period doesnt came now...can u help me why this happening to me

Hello,

The menstrual disturbance you are experiencing is due to the use of the emergency contraceptive pill, which contains a high dose of progesterone. If you used the pill within the stipulated time interval after unprotected sexual intercourse, you are well protected. The chances of conception, in this scenario, are almost nil.

You should see a specialist get proper evaluation and correction of the hormone imbalance. Please restrict the use of the emergency pill to one or two occasions only per year to avoid profound hormone disruptions.
