What Causes Irregular Vaginal Spotting?

Am 49 days late for my period and currently spotting. I took a pregnancy test back in February and it was negative. I also spotted 4 times in February and am currently spotting now, but I only see the blood when I wipe, what could be the cause of this?

Thanks for posting query at HCM.

Though you had a pregnancy test back in February but Its recommended to have a fresh pregnancy test from a reputed laboratory.

if it again turns to be negative, then you may have hormonal tests ( FSH, TSH, prolactin) and ultrasound examination.
