What Causes Irritation In Upper Stomach And Gas?
I am a healthy 39 year old woman. For 4 weeks now, I have had a few stomach issues. From the belly button up, I feel various levels of irritation, sometimes a pinching feeling, sometimes burning, sometimes just plain irritated feeling. When pressing around the belly button quite firmly, it is tender. My stools are normal, I don t feel nauseous and there is no blood in my stools or urine. I do have quite a lot of gas and burping. I have no fever. Any ideas? Thank you so much for your time!

its very clear from your description of symptoms that you are suffering from 2 different but related conditions--
(1) APD i.e acid peptic disease
(2) DYSPEPSIA
if i were your treating doctor,i would have advised the following treatment but as these are prescription drugs so you have to get these prescribed from your treating doctor
(1) CAPSULE RABEPRAZOLE 2 Times a day
(2) TABLET RANITIDINE 2 times a day after meals i.e 1 after breakfast and 1 after dinner
(3) TABLET DOMPERIDONE 10 mg 3 times a day after meals
(4) TABLET DICYCLOMINE 3 times a day after meals
(5) SYRUP DIOVOL-LA 4 teaspoons 3 times a day after meals
(6) SYRUP SUCRALFATE 2 teaspoons 3 times a day after meals
(7) SYRUP GASTRIC ENZYMES ( UNIZYME ) 2 teaspoons 3 times a day after meals
