What Causes Itchiness , Pain And Whitish Discharge From The Vagina?

a few days ago, my vagina was very itchy.. to the point that it hurt when I sit or even when I walk.. also, my discharge was thick /chunky and white.. then I had sex with my boyfriend evnthough I was in that situation.. but it surprisingly didnt hurt/itch while we were doing it, so I just let it be.. after the sex, the itching stopped.. and i was itchless for about 3-4 days.. now the itch is back but it s not as severe as before.. it just itches but kinda annoying.. also, my pee started smelling weird when my vagina itched again.. it wasnt there before, only when the itching returned.. Im kinda scared right now, this is really unusual for me.. and i dont know what to do

Hello,

Since you have whitish discharge, pain and itch avoid sex for a couple of days. Get Urinalysis (R/E and C/S) done. You should take care of your hygiene, take regular bath. Wear cotton clothes. Change your undies immediately as it gets wet. Have a wash with few drops of Dettol or Savlon.

Wash your clothes in hot water frequently. You can apply hydrocortisone ointment in the area affected for relief. You can also insert Metronidazole vaginal suppository in the vagina once daily at bed time for 3-5 days. You can also take a course of Flagyl (metronidazole) if its resistant and you don't get relief. Take acetaminophen, one SOS to ease the pain. When your urinalysis test report comes, you will be treated accordingly.
