What Causes Itching And Stinging On Arms?

I have had an itching and stinging on my arms for over 2 years. It is very random...some times no symptoms at all and sometimes the itching and stinging (like pin pricks) become unbearable. I have seen my personal doctor, an internist, a neurologist and a dermatologist and non have been able to diagnose or even give me anything that will treat the symptoms. I had shingles the month before this started. I have taken gabapaten last . Any ideas?

Hi..

You seem to suffer from post herpetic neuralgia.

I would suggest...

- tab. Fluoxetine 10 mg daily
- tab. Pregabaline with methyl cobalamin thrice a day
- tab desloratidine 5 mg at night
- avoid anxiety

Kindly continue treatment for few years even after relief.
