Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

The use of oral antibiotics can sometimes cause a change in the bacterial flora (bacteria that is found normally) of other areas of the body.

This change in flora can result in other infections occurring.

Urinary tract infections present with : discomfort on urination, frequency of urination, urgency, change in odor or appearance of urine, fever, abdominal discomfort.

If you are having some or all these symptoms then it is possible that you have a urinary tract infection.

Oral antibiotics can also cause yeast genital infections which would cause itching.

This is treated with topical or oral antifungals.

I hope this helps
