What Causes Itching Sensation In Upper Back And Wheezing?

Hello, I regularly experience what feels like an internal itching in the centre of my back, which is accompanied by wheezing. I find this is brought on after I have been laughing, which is rather worrying. My wheeziness and itching back can also be brought on after I have been outside, and the air is damp after it has been raining outside. I did contract a rather nasty chest infection about 15 years ago, and my symptoms have remained.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction.
I suggest using an antihistamine such as Cetirizine 10 mg daily to prevent the ithcing.
I also suggest using a steroid cream for local application such as Betametasone cream.
If the symptoms continue, I suggest to do the allergy tests for evaluation.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
