What Causes Itching, Sharp Pain And Anal Bleeding?
Hi, i am 22 years old. From the past two days i have been having anal bleeding. Going by the symptoms such as itching, sharp pain and fresh blood during bowel movement i feel it is hemorrhoids and nothing serious. I am planning on applying some medications such as cream or gel. Which one do you recommend? Do you also recommend stool softeners?

It could be hemorrhoids or anal fissure (cut in the anus), treatment for both would be as you mentioned stool softeners (Colace), you can apply over the counter hemorrhoid medications to help or anusol is prescription
