What Causes Itchy Bump On Top Of Butt Crack?

I have itchy bump at the top of the crack of my buttocks (sorry so graphic). What could this be? I just got back from California (I live in MD) and had to use the public restrooms, could this be a contributing factor? I did not sit on the airplane toilet but by buttock was exposed. What do you think? Any remedies?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Itchy bump at the top of a butt crack can not be due to usage of public toilets.
The most probable cause can be a developing abscess or a pilonodal sinus.
I would advise you to consult a General Surgeon for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations so that a proper prescription based treatment can be started with an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medications.
In the meantime have Sitz bath in a tub with warm water.
