What Causes Itchy Irritating Bump At Vaginal Opening?

Hello ive been really worried lately. I just noticed a bump inside my vaginal opening. Its kind of irritating ans itchy. Also inside my vagina it is red, should i call a doctor right away? Ive read so many articles saying it might be dry or maybe a yeast infection but im worried it might be more.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely bartholinitis if it is a bump in opening. It is better to have a local examination by a GP or gynecologist to rule out that.In such cases application of hot towel will give you relief. If it is bartholinitis i usually advise antibiotics like clindamycin as vaginal suppository.Local betadine ointment application also will be helpful.I also advise my patients to use intimate wash regularly to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH and there by prevent from getting further infections.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
I find this answer helpful
