What Causes Itchy Rashes On Arms And Waist After Getting A Prolia Shot?

I took a prolia shot in march and I have welts that keep popping up on my arms and around my waist they itch so bad and if I try not to itch when the welt goes down after a few minutes then it leave red spots. last night I got some on my knee and today there is about four red spots about the size of a quarter what do you think it is prolia or something else

Hello and thank you to for your question.
Rashes are a known side effect of Prolia. You really need to discuss this with your physician. You may need some blood testing to make sure that there is no other cause of the rash. It also depends upon how long ago the Prolia was given. If it was given months ago that is different than if you just got the dose more recently.
