What Causes Itchy Red Rash Behind The Knees After Applying Fucidin?

My daughter has been prescribed fucidin ointment for a crusty rash behind both knees (in the knee pit). The rash is red solid area, blistered and was weepy. The fucidin seems to have stopped the blistering and weeping but it is now a solid bright read patch which is very itchy, my daughter is concerned that it is not clearing up.

Usually skin affections might need a few weeks to completely clearing up.

So, try to be patient, and follow dermatologist's advice.

Might require other treatment. Should keep following up with her caring doctor.
