Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Itchy Red Rash On Knees And Legs After Using Nair?
After using nair i got a red bumpy rash. I cleaned it with water every day since, apply the hydrocortize cream, and aloe. it seems to have spread to the back of my leg and looks more like a rash right behind my knee cap. Ive also taken benadryl. currently its burning and itchy. i have no temperature.. and this is day been happening since last Friday. also it only broke out on 1 leg.
Seems you're experiencing a bad allergy reaction on the skin of your legs. You can send a photo of the affected leg to me to evaluate the changes myself. Keep using Hydrocortizone cream with Benadryl, and aloe for at least one week. Then you can resend the photo again for comparing the changes after 1 week.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
