What Causes Jelly Like Substance In Stomach After Intake Of Metformin?

I'm 30yrs old, female, and I'm taking 1000mg metformin and 75mg atenelol daily. Over the past month I begun noticing jelly bean-like objects in my stool. I retrieved one, gross, and dissected it. Most have been bright orange on the outside, but inside it's white. When I dissected it, it was like cutting into a jelly bean. It was very firm and dense. It wanted to stick to the plastic knife I used. I would say in total i've had about 10-15 of them. What is this? I'm scared!

it sounds as if you are finding undigested medication capsules. If your medications come in extended release this is common and nothing to be concerned about. If you notice blood or difficulty passing bowel movements, seek medical attention
