What Causes Joints Pain, Severe Fatigue And Congestion In The Elderly Person?

Last 5 months, Extreme Fatigue, constant congestion rising to cold like symptoms periodically, constant background heartburn, inflammation. Swelling in feet, lower legs, fingers, joint pain, back pain, muscle pain in legs. What does this sound like? I am 62 years old with no known major health issues, somewhat overweight, take no medications except Ibuprophen ocaisionally when pain becomes severe.

Hello,
You really need to see a doctor for an exam and labs. This could be heart failure and it is treatable but you need a diagnosis. It could also be some sort of autoimmune condition but again you need exam and labs to make the diagnosis. However, I would stop the ibuprofen because it will only make the swelling worse. Also cut out all salt from your diet. See a doctor soon.
