What Causes Knee Cap Pain After Heard Crunching Sound From Knee?

I twisted my knee and heard crunching sound it hurts but I could put a little weight on it I can't squat down but I can stand and walk just can't walk with me fully flexing backwards this just happened so I have to sign it and the pain is at the right hand side of my knee cap how much damage did I do

I can not comment on the history alone. It would be better if you show to a orthopedics surgeon. He may need to get a Mri of your knee joint. There are chances that you may have damage your meniscus or patella cartilage. Avoid fast running or jumping till your diagnosis is sure. Apply ice and take brufen tablet for pain relief.
