What Causes Knee Pain After Partial Meniscectomy?

I twisted my knee in 2009. I experienced knee pain and the knee giving up until I had a partial menisectomy, now it s just pain. Recently, I can t stand up from a squatting position. The two doctors I ve gone through say nothing is wrong, but I know there is. Why else can I not stand up from squatting position? It feels like it pops out of socket, with minimal pain. Please tell me I m not crazy!

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
I would suggest you to get MRI of the knee joint to find out what is going wrong. If I found that nothing is wrong then you need to avoid squatting and sitting cross leg and learn static quadriceps exercises and take regular calcium and vitamin D3. Most of the time cause of such pain is that due to removal of cushion like effect of the meniscus there is degeneration of the cartilage and it causes such pain.
If there is meniscus tear or ACl tear then you will need an Arthroscopy surgery to correct that problem though chances are very less.
