im a 27 year old female, and i am 5 feet 2 inches tall, i am 90 kg s i put on weight after child birth,i am having a knee pain i want to know if its due to body weight or arthritis or some thing like that,,,if so which doctors should i consult and am i over weight for my age?
Knee pain can be related to many medical conditions. It can be related to body weight. Arthritis can also cause knee pain. I suggest to do an X-ray of the knee and rheumatoid factor level for further evaluation. I also suggest to consult a rheumatologist for further evaluation.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

The knee pain at your age is due to excessive body weight that puts stress on the weight bearing joints like knee and causes the arthritic changes to develop early in the knee.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
