What Causes Knee Stiffness And Soreness?

Hi, thanks for taking my question. Several weeks ago, I went for a jog on a concrete path and after about 1/2 hour into the running my left knee tightened up and felt soreness on the upper and left side of the knee. I ve applied alternating ice and heat and that seemed to work. I haven t ran on concrete since. Yesterday, I went for a hike approximately 2 miles and as I turned around to head back, my knee tightened up and the same area was sore again (upper and left side). Is this a sprain that just hasn t fully healed yet? Tendonitis?

Hi,

Yes. It may be tendonitis, a sprain or muscle tear. You should go to orthopedic for a proper opinion. Till then, you can take painkiller and hot water fomentation over painful part and apply crepe bandage over there after applying Voveran Gel.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
