What Causes Lack Of Attention And Feeling Disoriented In The Elderly?

Yes my Mother in law, who is 91,has started today having short episodes where she stares off at nothing for just a couple of minutes but doesn't respond when called. When her attention comes back she is confused and is speaking jibberish. In maybe 15 minutes, shes back to normal. Should we be concerned?

Hello,
She definitely needs to see her doctor. This could be small strokes or seizures. Please help her get an appointment with her physician as soon as possible. If the episodes last longer she should go to emergency.
Regards
