What Causes Lack Of Urination When On Treatment For Prostrate Gland?
I have been told that I have an enlarged prostate which I have been given tamsaline. To relax the muscles around the prostrate. I have recently experience very poor urination which is worst at night and no matter how many times I go to the toilet to urinate I only dribble and therefore still do not relieve the situation. Even during the day when I have taken the medication imam still feeling they urge to keep going to the toilet. My GP has asked for a blood test and has arrange for a scan to see if my prostrate has increased in size since the last check. However this this will all take some time and feel that I need some form of medication to relieve the problem until all test are completed. I must also mention that the sensation of wanting to pee seem to be more in my penis rather than coming from inside. This is causing me a problem sleeping as I have to keep getting up and going to the toilet, and as I said very little if any no urine comes out. I would appreciate some ideas to alleviate this Regards Terence jell aged 70 years
