my daughter, 13 months old,has been irritable for the last 2 days. she had a large bowel movement with white creamy stool yesterday, and has had 2 more small ones this morning she had a large amount of emesis last night. she has also had a decreased appetite since yesterday morning, and won t eat anything today. hi, large Bowel movement which is creamy in colour, and history of vomiting suggest that your child most probably has acute gastroenteritis, food poisoning like symptoms. This can also be due to overeating. If there is persistent loose stools are vomiting then chances of acute gastroenteritis are quite high and you should get the child examined by doctor. The child will most probably need antibiotic. if there is no fever and the loose stool settle and vomiting doesn't occur then chances of overeating are more. you should watch for the symptoms and according to that get the child examined by doctor. Take care.
