What Causes Late Period After Taking I Pill?

I had unprotected sex with my wife and she HD taken ipill within 24 hrs,next day after d intercourse was suppose to be her period date...but its been arnd 25 days still no bleeding has occured, for this we did sonography and c t scan as well in next week of d event, bt found no result...wat are the probability of getting pregnant...plz help n suggest some solutions.

Hi, thanks for writing.. Get a UPT done because at very early stage it is difficult to detect the gestational sac.. CT is not recommended for detecting pregnancy.. If UPT is negative, get a B hcg blood test.. If the value is less than 10, it means you are not pregnant.. I pill can delay the menstruation.. If the cycle is prolonged, then you can take progesterone tablet to get withdrawal bleeding.. hope i have answered your query.. good day..
