What Causes Late Period, Terrible Cramps And White Discharge?

Ive had my tubes tied for 12 years. I am 48. I am two weeks late and had no cramping. Until today. Very mild and not painful as they normaly are. Had a little spotting while at work. Last month my period was a week late and didnt last but four days. since my tubes have been tied they have ran about 6 to 8 days with terrible cramps for the first two. ive had white to pinkish discharge today and very little blood. could it be an infection or could i be pregnant.? there is no odor in the discharge. just thick and yukky looking.
