Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
I think you may be having a frozen shoulder. I would suggest you to meet a orthopaedic surgeon and confirm this diagnosis. I would recommend you :
1. Physiotherapy to prevent stiffness of shoulder
2. infrared or hot water fomentation for pain relief.
3. Steroid injection if pain is not bearable.
MRI if all above measure fails.
I find this answer helpful
