What Causes Left-sided Abdominal Tenderness While Having Diarrhoea?

i ve had diarrhea for six weeks. Was hospitallze with dehydration and panceatitis for 3 days during this time. Syptoms include diarreha , tenderness on left side of abdomen. have not run a fever during this time. a GI doctor was part off the staff at the hospital, will see him Tuesday this week. My other doctors are waiting for him to see what he finds. Is this normal procedure to wait or should they be trying to find out what s wrong. I ve been out off the hospital for three weeks waiting for this appointment with him.

pancreas related only ) .

* Duration till how much you have to wait for consultant depends upon the
amount and intensity of your pain .

* Till then pro biotics , anti spasmodics as drotaverine , proton pump
inhibitors , antibiotics as metronidazole can be managed with your
doctor .
