What Causes Left Sided Leg And Knee Pain?

I had a cortisone shot about 3 weeks ago in my left hip. I am still in pain. The doctor said it was bursitis and arthritis. My left leg always hurts, my muscles, my knee and my left buttock. Now I feel like I have the aches and pains of the flu...I do not have the flu.
