What Causes Leg Cramps While On Lovastatin?

I am taking lovastatin 20. have developed leg cramps, muscle spasms, cramping of feet, both on top and under. Stiff leg muscles, Planta fashitas on left foot. confusion of letter when typing, errors spelling and some times can not see errors until later when reviewing. My medical friends suggested I check out side effects of lovastin. My colesterrol has been coming down, last result was at 130 I think.

The symptoms you mentioned are seen with statins and you are taking one of them if you are not a high risk patient for ACS you can discuss with your doctor regarding changing meds or stoping them.
