What Causes Leg Pain Even After Stopping Norethisterone Tablets?

Hi i have been on norethisterone tablets for six months, i have bad pains in my legs and been advised by gp to stop taking them, this was 2 weeks ago and i still have pain. I am going into hospital in 2wks for a hysterecomy. I am 51 yrs, 13 stone. I am worried about leg pain.. Thank you Lorraine

Hello,

The leg pain could be related to possible muscle damage. Anyway, I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some tests (complete blood count, CPK plasma levels, ESR, PCR). Nerve conduction studies may be needed.
