What Causes Light Black Color Lips To A 5 Month Baby?

hi am lawrence, i have a 5 months girl baby. my question is in my baby lips colour is light black colour. i consult the child doctor she said it will disappear automatically later but due to this in my family all of them are worried.please advice me for this

Hi....your doctor was right. The black color of the lips will eventually disappear as the baby grows up. But there is a medical condition called central cyanosis which can cause dark or bluish colored lips and fiber tips.... But if this is the case the baby will require evaluation for congenital heart disease.

But I am sure your pediatrician would not have missed this. So be rest assured.
