What Causes Light Headed And Nausea?

Hello

I work in an office job where I sit infront of a computer all day. Recently I have been feeling incredibly light headed and a bit woozy which has resulted in me feeling quite nauseous. As a coffee drinker I have experienced being light headed and having a faster than normal pulse, however this is different as my pulse is normal/slow yet I very suddenly become dizzy as if I have been travelling on a boat and the ground is moving. I have noted that my pupils are large during these dizzy spells. I am thinking I may be anaemic?

I am 23 years old, I am short and would say I weigh approx 58 kilograms. I do not smoke or take any medication, however I do enjoy the odd alcoholic beverage.

Hi, I have read your question thoroughly.

Getting into account your life style and the nature of the job you are doing with a lot of coffee intake makes the possibility of having an anxiety is likely. the other probabilities could be of migranous aur, anaemia.

But before we attribute all these symptoms to anxiety or work related stress it would be very logical to go to general practitioner and to rule out the other probabilities like Anaemia. Few blood tests, Ear check up and a few neurological examinations will clearly points towards the problem.

You can have the symptoms of having dizzy spells, nausea, large pupils, slow pulse during an anxiety attack. But there is nothing to worry. you have to bring about a little modification to your life style and that can help a great deal.

Daily exercise for half an hour and less coffee intake(2 cups) can help both the symptoms of light headedness and nausea. it would be also very logical if you could apply a filter to your computer screen, it would definitely help.

I hope you found this helpful.

If any further question you can write to me any time.

best regards
