What Causes Light Headedness, Nausea And The Urge To Defecate?

Hello, on Monday night I had a case of acid reflux, bad, never experienced this before. Created a lot of coughing, raw throat and headache. Took aloe Vera juice, apple cider vinegar/ginger drink, and am drinking 9.5 ph mineral water. Felt better; then, feel like a head cold is coming on. After dinner and eating some dark chocolate, took my Vitamin D supplement, red yeast rice, Vitamin C, and a mucinex (12 hours). Was standing and became light headed, felt nauseated, and sudden urge to go to the bathroom (poop). I have not vomited but did have a movement. Husband mention possibility of gallbladder problem. I am not in pain but the lightheadedness scared me. Thoughts?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The symptoms suggest possible underlying intestine infection through some sort of bug or bacteria.

Primary care with more liquids intake, soft diet, antacid, and antipyretic will help to a great extent.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
