What Causes Light Spotting, tenderness Of Breast & Lower Abdomen Pain?
I'm a 46 year old woman with PCOS. I haven't used birth control in over 10 years and haven't gotten pregnant. Recently I've been experiencing weird things such as tender breasts, lower abdomen pain, tired feeling, frequent urination, and bloating. Typically I wouldn't be concerned because these are symptoms I have a week before my period, but my period isn't due for another two weeks. In addition, I'm spotting. I haven't taken a pregnancy test because I was told I couldn't get pregnant after 10 years, well I'm kinda believe it. What is could be going on?
hi..... looking at the history ....it's not v clear that was any period missed??? so you are thinking on. lines of pregnancy... although you have mentioned your period is due after 2 weeks. otherwise As you are in age group approaching menopause.. irregular periods may happen... so may be these symptoms are a part of premenstrual syndrome . regarding spotting .. in progesterone deficient state .. spotting may occur 4-6 days prior periods.. so this could be a reason . then pain abdomen urinary symptoms etc... call for an ultrasound and urine examination as well to see if any infection/organic cause is there. .. then also a PAP s EB to be done and sent for histopathology to rule out other conditions...
