What Causes Light Vaginal Bleeding And Severe Cramps During Periods?

I ve been trying to get pregnant since I had a miscarriage in March. I always start my period on the 12th of each month, this month I was 2 days late and thought I had gotten a faint positive test yesterday but it could have been an evap line. Well today I started my period or what I thought it was but I had extremely bad cramps that I ve never had before, for about 3 hours and I m only lightly bleeding when I usually am really heavy the first day. Am I possibly still pregnant? Is it my period? Or could I be having another miscarriage?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I don't believe this is another miscarriage but just a normal period. If you suspect you may have been pregnant you may do a blood BHcg test to verify it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
