What Causes Lightheadedness, Dizziness, Extreme Fatigue, Headache And Blurred Vision?

My husband is 36yrs old and has been experiencing lightheadedness, dizziness, extreme fatigue, headaches and blurred vision for about 2 months (headaches and blurred vision are more recent and the symptoms have increased just recently). He has Factor V Leiden deficiency and has a hx of DVT x3 (he is on life-long Coumadin). He does drink beer - 1-2 per night during the week and a fairly heavy drinker on the weekends (at least 1 day per week). He has also just recently changed jobs (after 9 years at one place) and is very stressed out at work - he does not feel he is catching on at the new place and is worried about being let go. He just recently had full lab work done which showed low wbc count of 3.4. He also had a stress echocardiogram which was normal and an EKG which was also normal. He has a family hx of Factor V, diabetes and lung cancer.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi,

A migraine can do all of that and so can an attack of vertigo. He should be checked out for the same.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
