What Causes Lightheadedness, Numbness In Arms And Discomfort In Chest?

My chest has been feeling weird all day...just about my heart to my back and I ate some ham now my it feels like it did earlier but I m getting light headed nd my arm started to feel as if it was going to go numb but I stood nd moved around nd it stopped i dont know this happening I m getting a lil nervous

Lightheadness with numbness and chest discomfort needs to be evaluated further.

Do,we will have to rule out causes of syncope from cardiac and non cardiac for which,

you will require detailed history, thoroughly clinical examination for heart like ECG,blood pressure measurements in different positions like supine,sitting and immediately after standing, echo cardiography of heart etc.

But there is no need to worry if this has happened for the first time as it may get subsided automatically or with some medications and dietary measures.

The underlying cause could be vasovagal, orthostatic hypotension or postural tachycardia or due to anxiety etc.

You will have to consult your physician first for thoroughly clinical assessment to detect the underlying cause.
