My 12-year old daughter has mild linear morphea on her torso and leg. She was diagnosed about 2 years ago and after using Dovonex and a steroid cream, it seemed to have faded a good bit and almost burned out. However, it's recently gotten much darker on her torso and there are new areas on her upper leg. Could hormones from puberty have triggered it to be more active?
