What Causes Liquid Filled Sacs In Stool?

19 month old/male. He has small liquid filled sacs in his stool, about the size of a grain of rice. They look almost like very small fish oil capsules. Stool test for parasites came back negative. He is only 19lbs and his stomach is very dissented. Can t get him to gain any weight. Constant vomiting. Causes?

Hi welcome to HCM...

At least three stool examination done to give negative report for parasite when suspected. .......

So get your stool examined for parasites again and with concentration technique .....

Here USG abdomen done to rule out organic causes ......

If intestinal obstruction there colonoscopy done to rule out bend or adhesion...
Colonoscopy examination also useful for rule out polyp if present ..

According to cause treatment guided ...

If infection seems more likely antibiotic given after rule out organic causes ....

For vomiting domperidobe can be given ..

Take care ...

Consult surgeon with keeping this in mind ...
