What Causes Locking Up Of Elbow Joint?

I have an issue happening with the inner part of my elbows in what feels like the joint. If my arms are bent in a position too long they somewhat lock up and almost always crack. If I do not straighten them quickly (mostly to pop them back) it feels like they are burning. This is happening to both arms. What is happening and who should I see about it?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
I studied your case and I think that you are having some soft tissue problem in elbow joint. May be there is some structure which is coming in the way and it is causing locking of the elbow joint. I would recommend you to get MRI of the elbow joint and see what is that structure. If it is some part of the ligament or capsule then it can be excised and then treat accordingly. It may need a arthroscopy surgery by which we can remove part of the soft tissue with very small incision.
