What Causes Loose Bowel Movement With Brown Colored Water?

For about 2 years or more I do not have normal bowel movements. My movements are pure brown colored water - need to find a restroom immediately - sometimes occurring several times a day - from 3-4 times to 7 or 8 times a day. I have quit coffee, chocolate, taffy type candy. I need something to slow down the movements, urgency to find a restroom. Otherwise I am a healthy 67 year old female - only on Synthroid.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, intestinal infection could be the cause of your symptoms ideally the stool needs to be sent for culture and sensitivity, still condition can be managed with antibiotic on tentative basis and the drug of choice would be Tab Doxycycline 100 mg once in day for five days, if the dehydration is there then it has to be taken care too hope this information helps.
