What Causes Loose Motion After Taking Paracetamol?
My father is 77years old, diabetic, and had a mild stroke on 4th of May 2014.On 17th May he had 103deg temperature. He was given paracetamol and Moxvlav625. He is suffering from loose motion till date. Has the medicines administered got any side effects.
I am of the opinion that it's normal to get loose stools while taking antibiotic medication & not due to Paracetamol. Loose stools stops once the course of treatment is completed and problem is temporary. If severe loose stools with cramps and interfering normal activity, it's advisable to see the doctor to rule out any other cause apart from the one mentioned above. & finally Take care of your father as he's diabetic. Ask him to follow proper Diabetic diet & medication as per doctor advise. Check Blood glucose regularly & take medication correctly without skipping/discontinuing. Make sure he's not getting himself injured as it will take long time to heal. Avoid getting any Complication out of Diabetes.
Hope it helped.
