What Causes Loose Stools In A 10 Month Old?

HI Dr. Experts, My 10 months old son is facing loose motion which is very watery. I had a discussion with his regular doctor and he recommended, Vizylac, Zinconia, ZIFI100 Syrups for baby. After 3 dossages of these Syrups in a span of 1.5 days, i dont find any improvement. Baby takes medicine and sleeps, whenever he wakes up imeediately passes a loose motion. Doctor also recommended an allergy to his stomach. Could you please advice what is wrong as i am a bit worried now.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, the drugs that the doctor has prescribed you are correct, you also need to give ORS solution to the child. Loose stools may take upto 4 days to decrease but our main concern is that the child should not get dehydrated. I advice you to give adequate liquid diet and ORS to the child along with the prescribed drugs. Wishing your child early recovery. Take care.
