Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
As well as the symptoms I was allowed (by my computer) my main concern is the insatiable thirst. I have been taking Trazadone since 1985. I have no upper teeth, and the 8 lower ones are rotting away in front of my eyes. I have a history of GERD, GI bleeds, CAD post CABG 13.4 years. Recent labs indicate Blood Glucose @ 115. No protein in the urine. Some RBC s, a few WBC s, all else w/in norm. I have no appetite for anything and have lost 23# in 3 months. Having no teeth plays into that as well.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of insatiable thirst, no appetite and lost 23 lbs in 3 months; taking Trazodone, no upper teeth, GERD, CAD- CABG, and the reports noted. This indicates that you may be suffering from something serious as you have lost 23 pounds in just 3 months. Hence I would advise you the following: You needs a detailed clinical evaluation, actual physical examination and investigations of CT scan of the suspected areas to see for any cancer or so. Have dental opinion and put on the new dentures to facilitate the eating and regaining weight.
