What Causes Loss Of Appetite While On Cyclopentolate HCL Drops?

Hello, my mom is 86 years old and recently had cataract surgery and is taking Cyclopentolate HCL Drops in follow up since November 27. All of a sudden today, she is not interested in eating or taking her medications, thinks she is going to die, etc. Can this be a side effect of these eye drops? I read they can cause mood swings/strange behavior.

Yes, these mood changes can be due to cyclopnetolate. Ask your opthalmologist to stop or change the medication. Tropicamide can be alternative for it.
