What Causes Loss Of Hearing After An Ear Injury?

Yes, my boyfriend hit me really hard on the right side of my head/ear, I became dizzy when he hit me and lost hearing in my right ear. This happened 3 days ago and I still can't hear very well out of my right ear. Is it possible that he burst my ear drum?
