What Causes Loss Of Strength In The Right Hand?

My dad has lost all his strength of his right hand. He can t even tear a chapati/ bread bite using his right hand, though he is right handed. He has a lot of trouble waling as well, because of loss of strength in his right leg. This condition has been going on for almost 6 years now. Previously he had problems on the right side of the face as well, but which improved with time. We have tried a lot of treatments, including hospitilization in AIIMS, Delhi. We even tried Accupuncture, Ayurvedic treatments, with little or no improvement. Every doctor tells us a different story, some calling it mild paralysis, some calling it parkinsons. I am really really worried, and want to know what I can do to get him all good again. I am based in Pune if that helps. Please please help me! Thanks!

I am afraid more data is needed to at least attempt to help you. It would be especially useful to know the results of his MRI. Since he has been checked up and hospitalized I suppose he's had some tests done and MRI should be among those tests.
