Hello Doctor, My partner has had loss of taste and smell and is confusing tastes and has a constant earthy, mouldy taste in his mouth which I can smell on his breath. He has been taking medication for indigestion, heartburn and colestoral and last October had minor surgery in his throat for a small growth on his vocal chords. He has since been advised to cease the medications but this has not helped. I would like a gastroscopy but his doctor has not suggested this. They think its related to the reflux. We are looking for some new ideas please. Glenda and Bob
